August was a big month

So August was a big life changing month for us. It started out normal enough, Sienna finished her summer reading program and was able to get into our local amusement park "Lakeside" for free! She was in heaven! There are several little kids rides there, which is where we spent our time. This was her 3rd time there, but definately the least scary for her. This picture is of her on the little "half-pike" ride which is comparable to the big ship rides for older kids that swing back and forth. She was screaming with delight at the top of her lungs! That is her good friend Joseph next to her. What a treat it was to go to Lakeside!!
Then towards the end of the month Sienna started school! She'll be in Preschool for just this one year and then Kindergarten! She goes 2 days a week, and it's just perfect! She really enjoys her time there, and is so excited every day for what she'll learn or do next! The preschool is called 'Happy Valley' and is located on a mini-farm where she gets to go on pony rides, and help feed rabbits, pigs, cows, and goats if she chooses, on her recess time. (There's also a playground) This picture of her is on her first day right out front of the schoolhouse.

And she also started ballet at her new ballet school! This is her second year in ballet with the same teacher, even though it's a new school. We had to switch schools since we moved back to Arvada, and her old school was up in Louisville. Just a little too far to drive for ballet, although I'd have considered it for her to have kept her same teacher! Miss Marlana is SO amazing with the kids, and we both love her a lot! Fortunatly for us we found out that she also teaches at Westwoods School of Performing Arts which is only 5 minutes from our new home! Yay! The new school is a little different, but very nice. She's learned so much in the last year, and it's exciting to see her continue to learn the different ballet positions, and vocabulary!

The biggest change for us came at the last of the month, when Gramma and Poppy moved to North Dakota! So sad, we will miss them a TON over the next 4 years! We know they'll be back after that 4 years is up, and we're already looking forward to that day! Here is a picture of Poppy with Dallen and Sienna...:)

So BIG changes... our little girl is going to SCHOOL!! And we get to grow up a little more too, and try to figure life out without the help of Jeff's parents! Might not seem too big of a deal to whomever reads this, but it feels HUGE to us!!

Its always a joy and so sad at the same time when they start doing big kid things. Enjoy her while she's still itty bitty. For some reason they hit Kindergarten and age 10 years. LOL

It is amazing that Jentrey and Sennia are so much alike. Your kids are so cute. I bet it will be hard to have Margret and Marvin gone. I don't know what we would do with out our family.
