Imitating Daddy & Sienna's Birthday

Here is a double post- first there is an awful picture of Jeff being his silly self on the 4th of July. I think he's showing his distaste for bugs by displaying his bug spray, I'm not quite sure why he has his leg in the air...maybe just to get a laugh from Sienna, or maybe for a funny picture... either way both were accomplished. So the next picture was taken moments later when Sienna decided to imitate her funny father!

Here is a brief birthday update. Sienna's birthday was a couple weeks ago, and she turned 3! What a big girl she's getting to be! We decided to keep it low key this year since she was pretty overwhelmed last year with everyone singing to her and giving her gifts that she was expected to open immediatly. She wasn't fond of the attention (which is interesting because if you've ever seen her in a small group she wants ALL of the attention), so we spread out the celebration festivities. A couple days before her birthday Sienna invited her Colorado cousins to go swimming with her, and then ON her birthday we had cake and sang "happy birthday" to her. She was very, very happy and actually for the first time WANTED to open a few presents! It was a great day!!
