I had an appointment on Thursday, baby's heartrate was 148bpm. My blood pressure was 114/52 (normal-low=good). I am measuring perfectly normal. It was the first time that my Dr. said to me "If anything comes up, don't hesitate to call me." I thought "What!?!?! Already?!?!?" This came just after she had asked if I've been experiencing any contractions, to which my answer was "yes, but only braxton hicks", so I assume that she was referring to me possibly going into labor. Way too early if my calculations are correct. Although I don't think I'd be opposed either. I just want this sweet baby to be healthy, and the longer he stays put the better! So still several weeks to wait!!

Who's in the driver's seat?
This is actually last month, but I was looking through my pictures and just had to show this one. We were down in Colorado Springs for my nephew's baby dedication, and we were so far out east after the ceremony that we were on a dirt road. As we were approaching my sister's inlaws home, Jeff thought it'd be fun to let Sienna have a go at the wheel! At first I wasn't too keen on the idea, but then I thought about how I remember driving on dirt roads up in Idaho at a very young age, and how could I deny my daughter of the same fun experience?? So as you see, she took it very seriously, and we were only driving like maybe 5 miles/hr. She had to make 1 turn, and she did very well! It was fun to hear her retell the story. But I guess she's pretty good at ANY stories she tells!
A brief update on my pregnancy...

Well, she is your daughter, so of course she is good at telling stories!! I've never heard her tell that one, maybe I should try her out now...
I didn't hear about this story either! But I sure am excited to ask her about it and see what she says!
As much as I would like to see your little baby, I agree that you need to keep him in as long as possible! I will just have to sit and have a talk with him the same way I did with Sienna. She did a VERY good job of listening to her Auntie Tor :o)
We are about two blocks from our church, and every Sunday, one of the girls gets to sit on Daddy's lap and "drive" home. They love it. That's why Dads are so much fun.
I'm so glad everything is going so well! --you need one of those widgets that say how far along you are. Cuz i lose track. How far along are you? you're due in nov, right?
Yes, I am due in Nov.. Middlish. I've only got about 7 weeks to go! BTW, I have one of those 'widget' things on my desktop, but only because Jeff put it there...I really have no idea how to do it! I'm sure it's easy, but now I'm so close to the end that I don't know how much it matters!! I'm down to like 50 days!!
Cute! Sienna is such a doll! I better not show this to Riley...he asked me last week if he could start his daddy's car. He would be thrilled to drive. Good thing there are no dirt roads nearby...that will be our excuse! lol
